Everything is a Mirror

Every aspect of your life is a reflection, mirroring back to you a part of yourself.

You are creating your reality in this very moment. Every experience, every interaction, every person is a reflection of your internal state and belief systems.

Each emotion you feel sends out a vibrational frequency that is returned to you in your external reality. Are you stuck in a stagnant job that you hate? That job is a mirror, reflecting what you believe is possible for yourself.

Do you truly believe you deserve better? If so, you would be taking steps to change your reality. Perhaps it is time to face the possibility that there is a part of you that is comfortable with mediocrity.

Are you caught up in frustrating relationship dynamics? If so, how is your relationship with yourself?

Find yourself in toxic relationships? What part of you is toxic?

Are you tired of people judging you? If so, how are you judging yourself?

The concept of mirroring is really simple yet incredibly transformative when you start to bring in self-awareness. Know that any frustration occurring externally is happening FOR you. The universe is simply highlighting aspects within you that are causing unhappiness.

When you start to shift and change your internal compass, your external reality will change accordingly. Develop for self worth, and others will start to see your worth. Cultivate more self respect, and others will start to respect you more.

Every person you encounter is a reflection, mirroring back to you an aspect of yourself. If you find yourself attracting people you don’t like, the universe is mirroring what you don’t like about yourself.

Take this as your sign: if you are unhappy with any aspects of your reality, it is time to do a deep dive and reflect deeply on EVERYTHING in your life and how it mirrors your beliefs and feelings about yourself.

Sometimes our mirrors can deliver an ugly truth, but they only reflect what we need to address within ourselves.

What is your reality reflecting to you? You can’t blame anyone else for the world you are living in because you are the one creating it. It is up to you to decide how good your life can get before your mind decides that it’s too much.

You are the universe, and you are creating it at every moment. If you wish to change your reality, it is time to transform from within. Every internal change you make will be reflected externally.

It is time for you to take the driver seat of your life. After all, you are the writer, the creator, and the director of your story. Don’t like something about it? Do the inner work to transform your mindset, rewire your thought patterns, release old emotional attachments that no longer serve you. By elevating your frequency, you'll unlock the power to create profound changes in your external reality.

As your internal world evolves, watch the magic unfold as your outer reality shifts in response.

Does your darkness define you?

Darkness can be our greatest teacher.

Someone very wise once said to me, “I’m not afraid of darkness because I understand it”.

Darkness can be our greatest teacher. It is often through heavy moments in life or periods of darkness that we define ourselves.

Have you ever let a challenging or heartbreaking moment of pain, grief, or loss rule every emotion and ounce of your being? Have you spent weeks, months, or even years stuck in that same emotion?

This is what I call letting moments of darkness define you. In moments of intense emotional upheaval, it is pivotal to know how to process and release those feelings. If we don’t, we tend to hold onto those feelings and sometimes for a lifetime. This usually happens because the emotions tied to that event are the last shreds of evidence that we have to keep that experience or person in our life.

So if you find yourself clinging to those emotions, could it be that there is a part of you that is still clinging onto the emotional experience of that person or situation? Those very emotions is what is keeping the memory of that experience or person alive in your present.

It is time for a reality check.

The longer we hold on to the heavy emotions of the past, the more we let those emotions define us. The longer this continues, the more likely we are to become addicted to those emotions. The longer we are addicted to those emotions, the more they come to define every aspect of our existence and how we show up in the world.

You can’t fully move into the bright future that you are worthy of until you release whatever darkness is lurking in the depths of your being.

It is in this pivotal moment in time that I invite you to take a step into the unknown and do the work to start to release those emotions.

This is your sign to start to release whatever darkness or heavy emotions that you are addicted to. Those emotions are not you and they do not define you. So it’s time to stop letting them define you.

The first step to any pivotal change is bringing awareness in and I hope to have shed some light into your darkness today.

Remember the depth of darkness you are able to experience is equal to the level of light you are capable of.

It is time to let the light in.

If you are looking for support and specific ways to release old emotional patterns and ways of being, book a 1:1 session and I would love to support you wherever you find yourself on your journey.

Understanding the Difference Between Ego and Intuition

Understanding the difference between ego and intuition is essential for personal growth. While the ego often manifests as fear and self-doubt, true intuition offers clarity and guidance. This article provides insights into recognizing these internal voices, empowering you to make decisions that align with your true self.

Learning how to decipher the difference between your intuition and your ego will literally change your life.

This is something that I seriously wish was taught in school because it is one of the most fundamental skills to learn so we can live an empowered soul-led life and make choices that are in alignment with our highest good. Aka the path of least resistance.

It is can be SO easy to get lost in the sauce in our fast-paced modern world which ultimately distracts us from understanding our intuition and our own personal needs/wants/desires.

Truly understanding the difference between your ego and your intuition is one of the most valuable skills that you can learn - that can potentially save you a lot of time and lessons!

The ego is often driven by fear, anxiety, or insecurity. It usually aims to “make us feel better” hence stroking our ego or to “keep us safe” which keeps us in familiar situations out of fear of the unknown. Ultimately the ego isn’t operating out of a space for our highest good but out of lack, fear, a false sense of security, or needing to prove oneself.

Alternatively, your intuition will guide you. It is a guiding light. Feeling like a little nudge leading you to your most aligned path. Our intuition doesn’t always make sense at the time we receive the intuitive guidance. For example, suddenly feeling like you need to take a different route home later to realize you avoided an accident. Or feeling like you need to move or travel to a specific part of the world without really understanding why, only to meet your life partner there. It is these little beautiful nudges that align us to the right path.

Our intuition also gives us little warnings or intuitive nudges if a person, place, or situation is right or wrong for us.

So how can you tell the difference between your ego versus your intuition when the ego is so pervasive in modern society?

The answer is simple.

The easiest way to determine the difference between the ego and your intuition is where it is located in the body.

Simply ask your body where your intuition is - you may suddenly feel a sensation in your stomach or perhaps your heart center. It will be different for everyone. Even though there is the saying “trust your gut”, which ultimately references your intuition, you actually may feel your intuition in a difference place in the body because everyone is unique.

For example, when I get intuitive downloads my nose itches. Super weird and specific to me. So it could be your wrists or another part of the body that is unique to you.

Now ask your body where anxiety/fear is located in the body and start to take notice of the difference. Anxiety/fear-based decisions are often made by the ego and will show up in a difference place in the body - it could be your head or perhaps your chest. It will be different for everyone AND it is so important to remember that anxiety is NOT intuition.

Take this as your sign to spend some time getting in touch with your body and learn what part of the body is most connected to your intuition and which part is most connected to your ego. This is an incredible place to start on the journey to strengthening and empowering your intuition.

So the next time life presents you with a choice - which we make many of on any given day. You can start to make an informed decision if it is coming from your ego or from your intuition and respond accordingly.

Allowing your intuition to be your guiding light is truly one of the most powerful ways to live your most aligned and magical life on your highest available timeline (with the least amount of “difficult” lessons).

Learning How to Surrender

Learn how to surrender and release attachment to the outcomes.

The biggest lesson that I am learning right now is how to surrender.

This is WAY easier said than done. I actually don’t know anyone that truly knows how to surrender. Let alone have actually mastered the art of surrendering.

How many times do we try to force outcomes because we have a self-created timeline in our head?

We live in a world that is so immediate. We want everything instantly. Money, love, success, the job, the promotion, a certain career, or even fame.

When we don’t receive our desire instantly or we don’t receive it on the timeline that we want, we face disappointment. Didn’t get the person you wanted in love or didn’t get the job or career you wanted? Internal sadness creeps in.

Whatever it may be, it can be so challenging not to focus on the disappointment around not receiving what you long for.

The reality is, the second we shift the focus from longing (which stems from lack) to surrender, is when we make space for what we are looking and what is truly meant for us to arrive.

In order to surrender we have to release the attachment to the outcome.

How do you do this?

Truly surrendering comes down to having complete trust and faith in something unknown and greater than ourselves, as if we are simply falling into the divine plan of what we’re supposed to be doing. The art of surrendering is having complete trust and faith in the universe. That everything is lining up for you and that something even better is on its way and in its own time.

Sometimes learning to surrender can feel so challenging because the ego is learning one of it’s hardest lessons, how to stop controlling the whole universe.

So how can you stop trying to control every aspect of your life and start to practice the art of surrender?
